We change things about the way we are, including our health when we change how we interpret events and circumstances. When we begin to interpret things in a more positive way, we tend to live a more healthy lifestyle. Positive attitudes send new messages to our brain and to the cells in our body that can actually reprogram our health and behavior. Pay close attention to the kinds of thoughts you are allowing into your brain. If you are filled with negativity and anger you are doing more harm to yourself than you know. EVERYTHING you see, feel, or experience is changing the architecture of your brain. Ruminating on a negative situation can wire it deeply into the brain. So beware of what you let your mind ruminate on. That what you feed grows.
