Stay Positive

 

When you feel stuck:
1. Focus on the very next step no matter how small
2. Refuse to future-trip (catastrophizing about the future will keep you stuck)
3. Use a positive mantra (“I am strong enough”, “Just this moment”, etc)
4. Radically accept the moment you are in even if you don’t like it (“I am willing to accept this moment just as it is”)
5. Drink a glass of water and take several deep calming breaths
6. Shake off your anxiety by shaking your hands and arms while saying “I can do hard things”
